Katherine Holden

Associate

Katherine’s love of problem solving and working with vulnerable persons drew her to the Elder Law Clinic at Queen’s University’s Faculty of Law. As a caseworker and later a mentor at the clinic, Katherine felt she'd found her calling when advocating for her clients and helping them understand the basics of estate planning. Her experience at the clinic solidified her interest in and passion for elder law and estates work, leading Katherine to Goddard Gamage to pursue a career in this practice area.

Katherine summered and articled with Goddard Gamage before joining the firm as an associate after being called to the bar. Katherine has experience in all aspects of the firm’s practice areas, both in litigation and solicitor’s work. She particularly enjoys estate planning and ODSP matters where her legal skills and knowledge combine with her empathy and people skills. Katherine’s passion for the law and her warm personality have made her an integral part of the Goddard Gamage culture and she often gets voluntold to host firm events and compile internal firm newsletters.

In her free time Katherine enjoys exploring Toronto’s food scene, finding the city’s best cup of coffee, and spending nights in with her friends.
