Jan Goddard, Nimali Gamage Among Canada's Best Lawyers 2022

Jan Goddard and Nimali Gamage are honoured to have been selected by their peers in the legal community for inclusion, yet again, among the Best Lawyers in Canada for 2022 in the field of trusts and estates.

It has been another challenging year. To anyone who has continued to work from home while also caring for family members, had the cat leap on their computer keys while drafting a will or the dog bark in the background of a virtual court attendance, or who conducted a client meeting while their child clamoured for remote schooling help, in fact to all our support staff and fellow lawyers who rolled up their proverbial shirt sleeves and did what needed to be done for the sake of their clients and the profession - thank you.

We are lucky; this challenging year has also been a year of growth for our firm. We have had the privilege of working for clients of all ages in their hours of need and opened more new files during the pandemic than in the preceding years. And we welcomed two new associates - Shruthi Raman and Molly McCarthy. We know already that these two dynamic women will continue the Goddard Gamage tradition of offering compassionate and legally astute service to our clients.
